Movie date part two or three

This post is all about what I wore on a movie date with my boyfriend Steve. To set the scene: we went to the Laurel Park Phoenix theater to see 'Deepwater Horizon'. A fairly nice little theater, more like watching a movie in your friend's mom and dad's house's den; the movie? Well, it was so bad we left less than half way through. First I sent Steve on a mission to find for me something to wet my whistle on other than Coke or Pepsi, second, I went on a little mission of my own, this time to find out what was taking Steve so long. Needless to say, neither of us made it back for the film's, I'm sure, anti-climatic (no pun there), ending. No loss. We were expecting a bad movie, just not that bad, anyway, going to a movie on a date is never about how good the movie is going to be, right?
Not too long a digression there. So. Back to fashion. What was I going to wear? Well, started off with these:
Got another pair just like them except no back lacing.
Then, I wound up looking like this:
That's outside the theater. It's tough to find since it's inside this largish mall and can easily be mistaken for a store.
Here's two more shots, one from the rear, the other, a little to the sidish:

The bag, hat, jacket, and gloves go with the boots pretty darn good; not that great riding on the back of a motorcycle. So, what's underneath? Um, well...I think I wore a similar outfit in my last post about going on a movie date, and I think I mentioned something about a Scotsman and his kilt, and a joke. So...what was said there, applies here as well.
Guess that's it for today. Check back again for more interesting stuff. Probably going to do a holiday/gift type of thing, not sure what the subject will be about.
Catchya later.
Ciao.

Location, location, location

Totally sorry that all you've been getting out of this blog is just Polyvore sets. Sure, they're great, hey, I've got almost 2000 of them on here, but I'm sure you want some live action fashion.
And that's what today's post is all about.
So, this guy asked me out to go see, 'Fate of the Furious', already seen it, but said yes to be with the guy. Sounds like the start of bad joke, huh? Nah, this is totally on the level.

Now, what to wear? Well, it was a date and it was this past May, so I needed something a little bit warm, and a little bit hot, and this is what I came up with:

Here I am in the Phoenix theater State-Wayne movie theater; the lobby looks adorable and I think my date found my outfit the same. Basically, a bodycon, black PU jacket, bucket fedora, thigh high platform boots, and a fake reptile purse. You know how I use the phrase wee bit, well, more than a wee bit? And it sounds a little Scottish? And, did you ever hear the joke about what's under a Scotsman's kilt? Well...I guess you'll have to check out my Tumblr blog to find out, but don't forget about the Scotsman and his kilt.
Here's another shot at the refreshment stand:

I went to the salon before the date for a new perm. Makeup is Covergirl, oriented in the earth tone palette.
And here's another pic inside the theater:

We didn't have any trouble finding seats - only a few other people besides us - which is a good thing since the theater has only 6 rows of seats. A small intimate theater, intimacy is good for a date; not so good for the full movie theater experience.
So, how was the movie, Naomi, you ask? Well, I'd already seen it before the date, and was a little preoccupied during the date, enough said.
As Porky Pig says, that's all folks. Check back again for more exciting posts.
Catchya later.
Ciao.
